Made for Mercedes

I get asked a lot, WHY DID I MAKE this sculpture? The answer is very simple. My life was spared in a terrible accident that I had in my ML-320 and I walked away without a scratch. The SUV was totaled. I was given a second chance at life and to create artwork.  I was sad that I lost my favorite car, but happy that I am still able to do my work. To sum up the answer in simple terms – gratitude.

 

I sometimes wonder how many other people share the same story about the safety features of Mercedes Benz vehicles.  I hope sometime in the future I will be able to explore this situation with other Mercedes Benz owners. It is my professional guess that are a great number of people that share the same story.
